Pune: Being suspicious of having unlawful sexual relations with the sister, a young man was stabbed to death in the Balewadi area. This disturbing incident transpired on Tuesday, December 19, at 3.30 a.m. in an open space near Golden Terrace Society in Balewadi. Accordingly, a case has been registered against two people at Chaturshrungi police station in this case.
The deceased individual is identified as Rajesh Kamble and is a resident of Balewadi. According to the information, Rajesh and the accused, Rahul Sheshrao Rikame, are friends of each other. For the past few days, Rahul has been suspicious of Rajesh’s unlawful sexual relations with his sister.
Displeased with the matter, Rahul asked Rajesh to meet near the Golden Terrace Society of Balewadi on Tuesday late at night. At that time, both Rahul and Rajesh had a verbal argument on the matter, which led to the brutal stabbing of Rajesh. Rahul, along with his accomplice, Syed Jamir alias Sahil alias Babya Syed Noor, fatally stabbed Rajesh with a sharp weapon.
Rajesh was fatally wounded in the stabbing, sustaining multiple injuries that proved fatal. After that, both accused threw Rajesh’s bike in the Wakad’s river, with the intention of destroying evidence. In this matter, a 17-year-old acquaintance of the accused filed a police complaint at the Chaturshrungi police station.
On the basis of his complaint, police registered a complaint against both the accused under IPC 302, 201, 506 (2), 504, and 34. Assistant Police Inspector Rajkumar Kendre is delving further into the case.
