Pune: A youth died of a heart attack during the immersion procession. The incident happened at Ivy Estate in Wagholi at 7 pm on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Ganesh Balkrushna Dalvi (44), a resident of Ivy Estate, Wagholi.
According to details, the immersion procession of the Umang Home Prime Society Ganpati was progressing on Thursday evening. Ganesh Dalvi was dancing to the tunes of a Banjo party. He suddenly collapsed. His friends immediately rushed him to a hospital in Wagholi. However, the doctors declared him dead on arrival. He is survived by parents, wife and two children.
