Shivane, 13th July 2023: A shocking incident occurred in the Shivane area of Pune, where a woman has been booked for pouring boiling water on her husband during a dispute over money given to her brother. The incident took place in a residential society in Shivane on Thursday.
According to the police, the accused woman poured boiling water on her husband while he was asleep at around 4 am. Her anger stemmed from her husband’s persistent demands for the money that had been given to her brother. The victim sustained severe burn injuries as a result of the incident.
A case has been registered at the Warje Police Station under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which pertains to the offense of attempted murder. The authorities have initiated further investigation into the matter to gather more information and establish the facts surrounding the incident.
