The Trikaya Sanskritik Foundation, a dedicated NGO committed to preserving Bengal’s cultural heritage and supporting underprivileged women and children, is all set to host an inclusive and vibrant Durgotsav celebration right in the heart of Pune. This cultural extravaganza will unfold at Kundan Gardens in Baner, next to the Farmaiish restaurant, from October 21 to 23, 2023.
Amitava Sinha, President of the Trikaya Sanskritik Foundation, emphasized, “This Durgotsav is more than just a festival; it symbolizes our commitment to cultural diversity and unity.”
The celebration’s lineup includes a diverse range of events, featuring a special live performance by Bollywood singer Mismi Bose on October 21, a captivating fusion of Bengali and Hindi songs by the in-house Trikaya Band on October 22, and a delightful blend of East and West Indian music in ‘Dhaaker Taal e Dandiya’ on October 23.
Visitors can also savor the rich flavors and traditions of Bengal at the event. Renowned Bengali eateries from Pune will offer a delectable array of dishes at the Pujo pandal, while a bustling flea market will showcase local vendors and their unique products.
This year’s pandal theme, ‘Bonedi Baari,’ promises to immerse attendees in the cultural essence of Bengal. Traditional ‘bhog’ (prasad) will be lovingly prepared by authentic Bengali chefs, and the public is warmly invited to participate in Pushpanjali and Pujo Bhog ceremonies.
