Pune Weather Update : IMD Forecasts Rising Temperatures, Sunny Days Ahead

As the winter chill recedes and spring approaches, Pune residents can expect a shift in weather patterns, with rising temperatures dominating the forecast. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has released its projections for the upcoming days, indicating a significant uptick in temperature for Pune and its surrounding areas.

According to the IMD’s latest update, Pune is set to experience a gradual increase in both maximum and minimum temperatures over the next few weeks, extending into April. Clear skies and sunny weather are anticipated, marking a transition from the cooler conditions observed in recent months.

On Friday, March 15th, Pune is expected to see a maximum temperature of around 36°C, coupled with a minimum temperature of 14.1°C. Similar conditions are forecasted for Saturday, March 16th, with daytime temperatures reaching 36°C and nighttime temperatures hovering around 14°C under mainly clear skies.

Looking ahead to March 17th, Pune residents can anticipate warmer daytime temperatures, with the mercury climbing to 37°C. However, the nights are expected to remain relatively cool, with minimum temperatures of around 14°C. Once again, clear skies are predicted throughout the day, offering ample sunshine to the region.

The current weather scenario in Pune already reflects the onset of warmer conditions, with daytime temperatures reaching as high as 38°C and nighttime temperatures hovering around 20°C. As the week progresses, the city may experience even hotter weather, with daytime temperatures potentially peaking at 39°C. Despite the scorching daytime heat, nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to a more comfortable range of 14-15°C.

Areas across Pune, including Koregaon Park, Magarpatta, Lavale, Chinchwad, Lohegaon, and Pashan, are likely to witness similar temperature trends, with daytime temperatures ranging from 38°C to 39°C and clear skies prevailing.
