Pune Weather Update: Bid Farewell to Winter, Embrace the Approaching Summer

Pune – As the winter season in Pune nears its conclusion, residents can expect a gradual shift in weather patterns, with the city bracing itself for the impending arrival of summer. Dr. Vineet Kumar Singh, a distinguished research scientist at Jeju National University in South Korea, has shared insights into the changing weather dynamics, emphasizing a transition from winter to warmer temperatures.

Dr. Singh referred to the latest IMD-GFS forecast, indicating that minimum temperatures in Pune are projected to remain 3-5 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average until February 10. Contrary to the anticipation of any cold spells, the weather scientist presented precise data outlining the expected minimum temperatures in the coming days.

“The projected minimum temperatures are as follows: February 7-8: 15–17 degrees Celsius, February 9: 14–16 degrees Celsius, February 10: 15–17 degrees Celsius, and February 11: 13–15 degrees Celsius,” Dr. Singh specified. He added, “There will be no minimum temperatures in single digits for the upcoming 10 days.”

In addition to the minimum temperatures, Dr. Singh highlighted that the daytime temperatures would also see a rise, with the highest temperatures expected to linger between 31–34 degrees Celsius in the same timeframe. He assured that there is no significant drop anticipated below 30 degrees Celsius, signifying a shift towards warmer weather.

As Pune residents prepare for the transition, the weather update provides valuable insights into the expected conditions, allowing individuals to plan their activities accordingly. While bidding farewell to winter, it’s time to welcome the warmth of the impending summer in Pune.
