Pune Crime News

Pune: By mistakenly assuming that the person was looking at the woman inside the rikshaw, a few people brutally assaulted him, subjecting him to heavy injuries. This incident took place at NIBM Crossroad No. 2 on Wednesday, January 10, at around 5.15 p.m.

In this case, the victim, Maulasab Isaksab Qureshi, a resident of Kausar Baug, Kondhwa, filed a complaint against a few unidentified individuals at Kondhwa police station.

The plaintiff mentioned that he stood near a rikshaw stand at NIBM Cross Road on Wednesday, waiting for a bus. Meanwhile, a woman came there and sat in one of the rikshaws. At that time, a few people suddenly abused the plaintiff and asked why he was looking at that woman. When the plaintiff responded that he was not looking at the woman, a confrontation erupted between them.

In the following altercation, a few people, including a rikshaw driver, assaulted the plaintiff with their hands and belts. In the subsequent fight, the plaintiff was heavily injured, and blood started coming through his nose and head.

As a result, when the plaintiff attempted to escape from there, the accused again followed him and inflicted heavy injuries on him. After that, the man rushed to the Kondhwa Police Station and registered a formal complaint against the accused. Police booked the accused under IPC 324, 323, 504, and 34 and initiated further investigation under Assistant Police Inspector Dinesh Kumar Patil.
