Pune: Two including one woman cheated a woman of Rs 4 lakh by saying that we are calling from the Chief Minister’s office and we will approve a loan of Rs 1 crore from the Chief Minister’s Employment Yojana and will also provide a job to your daughter. The incident took place at Talegaon Dabhade area. The victim woman have registered a case against Talegaon police. Accordingly, the police have registered a case of cheating against a woman named Gawde and Rajesh Chavan a resident of Chinchwad.

According to assistant police inspector Durgnath Sali, “The complainant is involved in Ayurvedic products business. The accused woman said that she was employed in the Mantralaya while Rajesh was employed in a bank. The complainant said that the accused said that they will be sanctioning Rs 1 crore loan to her relatives. Also, accused said that they will provide a job to her daughter and demanded Rs 4 lakh. Later, when the accused were questioned for not sanctioning the loan and not getting the girl a job, they gave vague answers and they also switched off their mobile phone. As soon as the complainant realized that the accused woman was not working in the Mantralaya and Rajesh was not working in the Bank, she rushed to the police.”
