Pune: In a shocking incident in Wagholi area two brothers sent an obscene message on the woman’s mobile phone and also chased her and also molested her. When the woman went to the police station to file a complaint, her husband was threatened. The incident took place on Saturday, October 14 at around 8pm. The Lonikand police station has registered a case against two brothers from Chandan Nagar.
A case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 354, 354(D), 506 and 34 has been registered against Shivaji Gahininath Budhwant (32) and his brother Ishwar Gahininath Budhwant both the resident of Kharadi Bypass in Chandan Nagar. A 24-year-old woman and a resident of Wagholi have registered a case on Sunday, October 15 at Lonikand police station.
According to the police, “The accused Shivaji by sending continuous obscene messages on the woman’s mobile phone tried to get close to her. He also chased her and forcefully tried to make her sit on his bike. At that time, he also molested the woman. The woman went to the police station along with her husband to file a complaint, the accused brother Ishwar threatened to file a false case against the woman’s husband outside the police station and also said that he would kill him.”
The further investigation in the case is being carried out by police sub-inspector Bhade.
