In an effort to facilitate essential infrastructure work, the Pune Traffic Police have released details regarding traffic diversions due to asphalt mastic work scheduled at the Wakdewadi underpass. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will be undertaking this crucial project, leading to alterations in traffic flow for a specified period.
According to the Pune Traffic Police, the asphalt mastic work is set to commence from 12:01 am on December 22, 2023, and will continue until 6 am on December 26, 2023. The diversions have been strategically planned to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic in Pune city during this period.
Traffic Diversions at Wakdewadi:
- From N T Wadi:
- Traffic flow will continue on the road from Khadki to Patil Estate through the Wakdewadi underpass.
- From Khadki Underpass:
- The road leading to N T Wadi will be closed. Motorists are advised to commute from the Engineering College bridge.
- Underpass from Patil Estate to N T Wadi:
- This underpass will remain closed. Motorists should use the Engineering College bridge.
The planned diversions are anticipated to last for four days, contingent upon the progress of the repair work. The Pune Traffic Police have issued these instructions to minimize disruptions for drivers during this period.
