Pune: Traffic diversion in Bhide Bridge area for next two months

Pune Traffic Diversion

Pune: A rainwater drain will be built from the PMPML bus stop in Deccan Gymkhana to the Bhide Bridge. Hence, traffic from this area will be diverted for the next two months.

Traffic coming from Kelkar road using Bhide Bridge to go to Deccan Gymkhana may be closed, if needed.

The rainwater drain line work will commence on Monday (October 16). It is likely to be completed by December 15. The traffic coming from Kelkar Road and using Bhide Bridge to go towards Deccan Gymkhana will be closed, if required. This was revealed by DCP (Traffic) Vijaykumar Magar.

DCP Magar appealed to the commuters coming from Kelkar Road and using Bhide Bridge to go to Deccan Gymkhana to use an alternative road. Commuters coming from Kelkar Road and going towards Jangli Maharaj Road or vice versa should, as far as possible, use Gadgil Bridge (Z Bridge). They can go via Bhide Bridge, Sukanata Hotel and Khau Galli to Jangli Maharaj Road.
