Pune Traffic Diversion

Pune: In preparation for the Bhumi Pujan program of the Jejuri Development Plan, as well as “Shasan Aplya Daari,” a traffic diversion plan has been put into action in order to prevent congestion and ensure smooth transportation for the attendees. The program, which will take place on July 13 in Jejuri, Purandar taluka, will be graced by the presence of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and other dignitaries.

To facilitate the arrival of the beneficiaries attending the event via State Transport Corporation buses and other vehicles, the Collector issued an order to implement traffic changes. As part of the plan, National Highway No. 13 from Pune to Pandharpur, between the hours of 5 am and 8 pm, was closed off to heavy and bulky traffic. Similarly, the Pune to Baramati route was redirected to alternative roads to avoid congestion.

Traffic within the Jejuri Police Station area, for those traveling from Satara, Phaltan, Lonand, and Baramati to Pune, was rerouted via the Pune-Solapur Highway No. 65, passing through Nira-Morgaon-Supa to Kedgaon Chauphula. The Pune to Baramati traffic was completely halted and directed through the Baramati-Phaltan-Satara route, using the Belsar-Kothale-Nazre Supe-Morgaon road.

Furthermore, traffic within the Vadgaon Nimbalkar Police Station area, coming from Baramati and Nira Baju to Pune via Jejuri, was completely restricted and redirected via Morgaon-Supa-Kedgaon Chaufula from the Pune-Solapur Highway No. 65.

Lastly, the traffic within the Saswad Police Station area, for those traveling from Pune to Phaltan-Satara via Jejuri, was closed off and rerouted via Saswad-Narayanpur-Kapurhol to Satara-Phaltan or through Saswad-Veer Fata-Parinche-Veer-Vathar to Lonand.

These traffic diversions were put in place to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles and prevent any disruptions during the significant Bhumi Pujan program.
