Pune: The fame of Bhausaheb Rangari Bhavan reaches across seven seas; Delegation from Brazil pays visit

PUNE: A delegation from Brazil which had come to Pune for conducting research on ayurveda, recently visited the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Bhavan, which houses the Ganpati of the mandal (first public Ganesh mandal in the country), and sought blessings of the deity and collected information about the revolutionary history of Rangari Bhavan.

The Trustee of the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust and Festival Head, Punit Balan, welcomed the delegation. The members of the delegation also collected information about the important role played by Bhausaheb Rangari during the freedom struggle and the movement formed by him through Ganeshotsav. Festival Head Punit Balan informed them about the various social activities being carried out by the mandal during the Ganesh festival.
