Pune : Sushma Chordiya, Vice President of Suryadatta Education Foundation & President of Suryadatta Women Entrepreneurship & Leadership Academy honored with ‘Certificate Excellence-2023, Lifetime Achievement Award’ for remarkable work in education, women empowerment and social service. She received this award at the hands of Cabinet Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Mangal Prabhat Lodha & Lt. Gen.(Retd) Dr. Madhuri Kanitkar, Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences recently in Mumbai. This award function & education summit was organized by Navabharat Group at Hotel Orchid, Mumbai. Vaibhav Maheshwari, Director of Navabharat Group and Dr. Anant Chakradeo, Pro Vice-Chancellor of MIT Arts, Design & Technology University.
Sushma Chordiya is known as a renowned philanthropist and social worker. She has been working tirelessly for the betterment of society and upliftment of the underprivileged community. Under her guidance, Suryadatta has initiated various activities like Suryadatta Edu-Socio Connect, Food Bank, Knowledge Bank, Clothing Bank, Product Bank which provides voluntary skill based projects, awareness programs and free education to the needy, economically backward sections of the society. She always encourages the students from all strata of society to pursue education and provide financial assistance to poor and needy students without any discrimination. More than 2000 working professionals have taken a benefit of scholarship under the initiative ‘Learn while Earn’, initiated by Sushma Chordiya. She is known for imparting skill development, English language and computer training to women, railway porters, rickshaw drivers, boys and girls from economically backward classes. She always took the lead in various activities like free distribution of sewing machines to village women, as well as sewing training, distribution of free clothes and healthy food to children, health screening camps for women and others, health training etc.

Central and State Governments are implementing special programs on skill development and value based education. Any proposal to start any employment based course will be approved by the State Government immediately. The Chordiya couple has contributed to imparting world class, value based and skill education for inclusive development of the students through Suryadatta Institute. Sushma Chordiya is doing remarkable work in the field of women and social service. She has played a major role in the progress of Suryadatta Education Foundation. She is involved in carrying out the necessary activities for the new generation while interacting with the students.”
