Pune: Stray Dogs Found Dead in Katraj, Suspected Poisoning

Pune : In a tragic incident, four stray dogs were discovered lifeless in the Gujar Vasti area of Katraj. It is suspected that these innocent animals were deliberately poisoned through their food.

Preeti Niwas Pawar, a compassionate animal lover residing in Gujar Vasti on Katraj-Kondhwa Road, has taken action by filing a formal complaint at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. The complaint has prompted the registration of a case under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.

Preeti Pawar, deeply saddened by the death of one of the stray dogs, decided to involve the police in this matter. In the complaint, Pawar expressed strong suspicion that poison had been used to harm the helpless canines through contaminated food. Sub-Inspector Thorat has taken up the investigation into this distressing incident.

The local community is appalled by this cruel act and calls for swift justice to be served. Residents are urging the authorities to take strict action against those responsible for this heartless act of poisoning innocent stray dogs.
