Pune: Sinhagad Road traffic division! No-parking in some areas and temporary changes in traffic movement

PUNE: Orders have been issued about changes in traffic arrangements on a temporary basis in Sinhagad Road traffic division to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
Vehicles travelling from Swargate to Vadgaon Bridge (Veer Baji Pasalkar Chowk) will turn left at Ganeshmala signal and travel by Janata Vasahat canal road and turn left at canal junction and will travel on the right side of the canal and go towards Tukai Nagar Chowk and the route has been made one-way.

Vehicles travelling from Vadgaon Bridge (Veer Baji Pasalkar Chowk) to Swargate will turn left at Sinhagad Road ward office and travel via London Bridge Chowk to Misal Garden (Canal Junction) and turn left and proceed towards Vishranti Nagar Chowk and the route has been made one-way. Vehicles coming from Misal Garden will not be allowed to travel on the left side of the canal.

Four-wheelers will be prevented from going on the London Bridge towards Mahadev Nagar from Hingne and only two-wheelers will be allowed.
Heavy vehicles have been banned from travelling from Janata Vasahat to Sinhagad Road ward office till Fun Time multiplex on the canal road.
Since an alternate road is available for traveling from Swargate to Vadgaon Bridge and in the reverse direction, citizens and commuters will not face any inconvenience.

A 50-metre no-parking area has been created on the stretch from Goelganga Chowk to ICICI Bank (till the divider ends) on both sides of the road. Parking facility for two-wheelers is being created on the left side of the road from Goelganga Chowk to ICICI Bank to Amrutganga Society Gate Number 4 (Shorba restaurant). On the right side of the road after the divider ends, parking facility for four-wheelers is being created from the proposed PMC auditorium to Atithi restaurant. On the right side of the road, from HDFC Bank to Soba Optima Society gate, a facility for parking of two-wheelers is being created.

A no-parking area for up to 100 metres on both sides of the road from Sinhagad Road ward office till the road divider ends is being created.

If the citizens have any suggestions or objections, they should send it in writing to DCP, Traffic Branch, Yerawada Post Office, Bungalow number six, Jail Road, Pune till August 20.

DCP (Traffic) Vijaykumar Magar has informed that the suggestions and objections will be discussed and final orders will be issued and emergency vehicles will be exempted from these changes.

Final orders have been issued about creating a no-parking area of 50 metres on both sides of the road from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak Chowk till the gate of Vishnu Puram Society on the road from Vadgaon to Pounjai Mata Temple.
