Pune: Signalling Maintenance Between Hadapsar and Loni Affects Train Services – Important Details

Pune, August 18, 2023: Train passengers traveling on the Pune-Daund railway line in the Pune division should be aware of temporary disruptions in train services due to scheduled signalling maintenance activities between Hadapsar and Loni stations.

Here are the key details regarding the impact on train services:

  1. Cancellation of Train No. 01529/01530 Pune – Daund – Pune DEMU: The train service originally scheduled for Sunday, August 20, under the number 01529/01530 Pune – Daund – Pune DEMU, has been canceled due to the traffic block implemented between Hadapsar and Loni stations.
  2. Delayed Departure for Train No. 22171 Pune – Rani Kamalapati Humsafar Express: On August 20, the departure of Train No. 22171 Pune – Rani Kamalapati Humsafar Express will experience a delay. Instead of the originally scheduled time of 15:15, the train will now leave Pune at 17:00.
  3. Changes in Services for Trains No. 17014 Hyderabad-Hadapsar Express and 17013 Hadapsar-Hyderabad Express: Train No. 17014 Hyderabad-Hadapsar Express, originally set to depart from Hyderabad on August 19, will now conclude its journey at Daund. Similarly, Train No. 17013 Hadapsar-Hyderabad Express, departing from Hadapsar on August 20, will begin its journey from Daund instead of Hadapsar. The segment between Hadapsar and Daund will be temporarily canceled during this period.
  4. Altered Route for Train No. 12164 Chennai-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express: Train No. 12164 Chennai-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, initially scheduled to depart from Chennai on August 19, will operate via the Daund – Manmad – Igatpuri route.
  5. Anticipated Delays for Other Trains: Delays are expected for the following trains on the Pune section: Train No. 11078 Jammu Tawi-Pune Jhelum Express, departing from Jammu on August 18; Train No. 12780 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Goa Express, departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin on August 19; and Train No. 01440 Amravati-Pune Express, departing from Amravati.

Dr. Ramdas Bhise, PRO of the Pune railway division, advises passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and allow for extra travel time if they are using the affected train services during the maintenance period. He also expressed apologies for any inconvenience caused and appreciated passengers’ understanding as these measures are taken to enhance the safety and efficiency of the railway network.
