Pune: Session on Anti Ragging held at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College

Pune : The Anti-Ragging Cell of Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College, Pune, organised a Session on the topic ‘Anti-Ragging : Prevention And Regulation’ recently. Adv. Pushkar Patil (Practicing Advocate at District and Session Court, Pune), was invited as Guest Speaker for the lecture. Dr. Ujwala Bendale(Dean of Bharati Vidyapeeth Law Faculty and In Charge Principal,New Law College), Dr. Jyoti Dharm(Vice Principal) were also present for the lecture.

Adv. Pushkar Patil enlightened the young minds by educating them on diverse laws and Case laws relating to Anti- Ragging. The main objective of making the students aware about the importance of Anti – Ragging and Prohibition of ragging was contended. The UGC Guidelines relating to Anti Ragging were informed to the students. The Programme was successfully organised by Faculty Co-ordinators of Anti – Ragging Cell Dr. Jayashree Khandare and Mrs. Karishma Patil.
