PUNE: The Supreme Court has stayed the sentence awarded by a court in Gujarat to senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. After reprimanding the Centre for ignoring the violence in Manipur, this is another slap in the face of the Central government i.e. Bharatiya Janata Party. The decision of the SC has upset the wicked plan of BJP to destroy opposition parties, said Vice-President of State Congress Mohan Joshi.

The BJP was scared as the Bharat Jodo Yatra had created an atmosphere of unity in diversity. Hence, PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah hatched a conspiracy to file a case in Gujarat on the pretext of Rahul Gandhi making a speech in another state. However, the SC has exposed the conspiracy, Joshi said.

Joshi said that it is a positive development that Rahul Gandhi would be able to take part in the debate on the no-confidence motion against the Central government on August 8, 9 and 10.
