Pune: Sahkarnagar Police Patrolling Team Uncovered Bike-Theft Incident; Seized Three Bikes from Accused

Pune: Yesterday night, the Sahakarnagar Police apprehended a person regarding vehicle theft within the police station limits. The police confiscated three stolen bikes from the accused.

On the eve of the Christmas festival, the team of Sahakarnagar police station was patrolling in the area. At that time, the accused, Sachin Sham Dhavale (43), was seen speeding towards Taware Colony from Treasure Park on an Activa moped two-wheeler. Becoming suspicious of his movements, the on-duty police constables Bhujang Ingle and Sushant Farande chased him and consequently held him for interrogation.

After seeing the police action, the accused, Dhavale, confessed his involvement in the bike theft in the area. During further interrogation, he informed that he had stolen two more bikes with duplicate keys. Accordingly, the police have seized two Activa moped bikes and one Honda Shine worth Rs 45,000 from him and uncovered three crimes.

This action was done by the team of Police Constables Bhujang Ingle, Sushant Farande, Bajrang Pawar, Amol Pawar, Nalesh Shivtare, Mahesh Mandlik, Navnath Shinde, Sagar Sutkar, Sagar Kumbhar, and Vishal Wagh under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police Western Regional Division Pravin Kumar Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 2 Smartana Patil, Assistant Commissioner of Police Narayan Shirgaonkar, Senior Police Inspector Surendra Malale, Police Inspector (Crime) Sandeep Deshmane, Investigation Team Police Sub-Inspector Rahul Khandale, and Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Bapu Khutwad.
