Pune: Ranjit Tawre elected unopposed as Director of Pune District Central Cooperative Bank (PDCC Bank)

PUNE: NCP leader and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has resigned from the post of the Director of Pune District Central Cooperative Bank two months ago. There was a possibility that after Ajit Pawar’s resignation, Parth Pawar may be elected as the director of the bank. However, at the last minute, Ajit Pawar gave an opportunity to Ranjit Tawre to become the director of the bank.

After the election of the director, Chairman of the bank Digambar Durgade said NCP leader and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar had resigned from the director’s post two months ago and the director’s post was vacant. After the election for the director’s post was announced, the deadline for submitting the form was 11 am. Since only Ranjit Ashok Tawre submitted the form, the election was held without any contest. He announced that Ranjit Ashok Tawre had been elected unopposed as the director.
