Pune: Punit Balan gifts a bus to school at Loni Dhamani in Ambegaon taluka on his birthday

Pune: Young entrepreneur Punit Balan has gifted a school bus to the school at Loni Dhamani in Ambegaon taluka of the district. The vehicle will facilitate safe journey of children to the school and back to their homes. Villagers have thanked Punit Balan for the gift.

Many development works have been undertaken by the Indrani Balan Foundation at Loni Dhamani. A huge school building has been built by the foundation, which will be inaugurated soon. A water pond has also been constructed for the supply of water throughout the year to the village. Farmers are also happy about this.

Moreover, an ambulance was gifted by Punit Balan on his birthday last year. This had provided a big relief to patients at the village and its surroundings.

Punit Balan handed over a cheque to the Maji Vidyarthi Vikas Prabodhini, an alumni association of the school, to purchase the school bus. The bus will soon arrive at the village. Joint Secretary (Home Ministry) Kailas Gaikwad, Coordinator Chetan Lokhande, Prabodhini President Udayraje Walunj, Treasurer Balasaheb Gaikwad, Secretary Dr Avinash Walunj, Member Rajesh Walunj were present.
