Pune: At Chandannagar police station, a complaint has been registered against a 32-year-old person for illicitly keeping physical relations with her by promising marriage and cheating her. In this case, a 32-year-old girl living in Vadgaon Sheri filed a complaint against him on Wednesday, January 17.

The accused is identified as Krishna Bharat Jadhav, and he is an original resident of Swami Samarth Nagar, Adgaon Shivar, Panchvati, Nashik.

A few months ago, the plaintiff and the accused were working at a private bank in Nashik on a temporary basis. At that time, the accused and the victim get acquainted with each other. Soon after, their friendship turned into a blossoming relationship, and they fell in love with each other.

Meanwhile, the plaintiff got the job in Pune, and she moved to Vadgaon Sheri for a job. After that, the accused started regularly coming to Pune to meet her. During this, the plaintiff complained that the accused kept physical relations with her, falsely promising her marriage. He regularly had physical relations with the plaintiff after that.

However, the accused did not live up to his promise and entered into a marriage with another girl. Shockingly, when the girl learned about this, he threatened to kill her if she talked to anyone about it.

Feeling cheated and distressed, the plaintiff went to the Chandannagar police and registered a complaint of cheating against the accused. Based on her complaint, the police charged the accused under sections 376, 376/2/N, 377, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Assistant Police Inspector Ghorpade is investigating further into the case.
