Pune Mundhwa Police: Notorious Accused Arrested From Keshavnagar in Breach of Tadipar Orders

Pune: Mundhawa police swiftly arrested a notorious criminal with a country-made pistol and bullet rounds who had come to the city in violation of the Tadipar orders issued by the city police. This incident took place on Friday, March 1, at around 6 p.m. at Lonkar Chowk in the Keshavnagar area.

The arrested individual is identified as Tejas Kupendra Paigude, and he is a resident of Keshavnagar, Mundhwa. Paigude is a notorious criminal, and he has been prevented from entering the city limits under the invocation of the Tadipar order against him for his last crime. He is an on-record criminal and has multiple complaints against him at Mundhwa police station.

On Friday, Mundhawa police were patrolling the area to search for on-record criminals and other wanted accused. At that time in the evening, police officer Dinesh Bhandurge got information that Paigude, who is currently at large, had arrived near the Lonkar Petrol Pump.

Mundhwa police ensured the originality of the news and, in the subsequent police action, detained the accused swiftly. After he had been checked, he was found in possession of a country-made pistol. On further search, two cartridges were found in the right pocket of his pants. Accordingly, the police seized the pistol and cartridges and arrested the accused under the Maharashtra Police Act and the Arms Act.

This action was taken under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Pravin Pawar, Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police R Raja, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwini Rakh by the team of Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bolkotgi, Assistant Police Inspector Annasaheb Tapre, Assistant Police Faujdar Santosh Jagtap, Police Constable Dinesh Bhandurge, Santosh Kale, Mahesh Pathak, Rahul More, Hemant Zurunge, and Sachin Patil.
