Pune-Miraj Doubling Project Reaches 95% Completion: A Boost for Rail Travel

Pune, 31st October 2023: In a significant development, the Pune-Miraj Doubling Project, focusing on the Sangli-Miraj-Vijaynagar section, is now 95% complete. This project spans 9.23 kilometers and features 5 minor bridges, 1 major bridge, and a crucial Road Over Bridge (ROB).

The progress, currently at 95%, promises numerous benefits. It will notably enhance the efficiency of train operations and alleviate congestion at the critical Miraj Junction.

This milestone marks a substantial step towards improving railway infrastructure and ensuring smoother rail travel in the region.
