Pune: In the Kondhwa area of Pune, a horrible incident involving the alleged rape of a minor girl has come to light. The victim girl was found pregnant, and a police complaint has been registered against the accused in this case.
In this instance, the Alankar Police Station received a report of a 17-year-old girl who had allegedly been raped. On the basis of her complaint, the police registered an FIR against the accused, Atish Shinde (20), under Indian Penal Code 376, 366, and 506 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Police informed that the accused, Atish Shinde, took the victim girl to his friend’s room in Kondhwa on the pretext of strolling in a neighbourhood one day. After that, he forcefully raped a minor girl, in spite of having a clear understanding of her being a minor. It has been alleged that he has repeatedly sexually assaulted the girl since then. This entire incident spanned from November 2022 and December 2023 at an accused’s friend’s room in Erandwane and Kondhwa.
Shockingly, he also threatened the minor girl of the grave consequences of breaking her parents hands and legs if she told anybody about this incident. This entire incident came to light after a victim girl was found pregnant. After that, the woman filed a complaint at the police station.
As per the primary reports, the girl is undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital in Pune, and further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Deepak Khedkar of Alankar Police Station.
