MSEDCL officials have emphasized that the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Corporation Limited (MSETCL) holds the responsibility for supplying power to the Pune Metro. They firmly state that MSEDCL has no involvement in the power supply chain for Pune Metro services. The blame attributed to MSEDCL for the power disruption has been deemed unwarranted.
On a fateful Friday, Pune Metro services faced an interruption, spanning from Vanaz Metro Station to Ruby Hall Clinic, lasting for 21 minutes. Metro authorities reported that the disruption in power supply was a result of an unexpected surge in the load on the power infrastructure catering to Pune Metro.
