One Pune Vidyarthi Pass

Pune Metro Rail Project is unveiling a game-changing solution for students in the form of the “One Pune Vidyarthi Pass (विद्यार्थी पास),” aiming to revolutionize student commuting by making it effortless and cost-effective. Starting from tomorrow, this pass will empower students with seamless metro travel experiences, ensuring their daily journeys are convenient, efficient, and budget-friendly. As a special launch offer, Pune Metro is giving away the first 10 thousand cards free of charge to students on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, students using the One Pune Vidyarthi Pass will enjoy a flat 30% discount on all ticketing transactions with Pune Metro.

Students can easily apply for the pass via the following link: One Pune Vidyarthi Pass Application or by scanning the QR code at any commercially operating metro station.

The “One Pune Vidyarthi Pass” is an extension of the One Pune card, powered by the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) Prepaid system from HDFC Bank. This pass reflects Pune Metro’s commitment to providing students with convenient, secure, and cashless travel solutions, reducing transaction times.

This pass is not only designed for metro travel but also facilitates convenient shopping and various other applications. Its user-friendly Tap-and-Go functionality ensures seamless transactions. Operating on a prepaid, open system based on EMV standards, this pass allows fares to be deducted only up to the exit station, eliminating the need for pre-planning. It can be used for both metro and bus travel across cities and states in India, making it a versatile travel solution. Compliant with the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) specifications mandated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and adopted by all Payment Scheme Networks in the country, the One Pune Vidyarthi Pass is also transferable, providing flexibility for friends, family, or relatives to use it as well.
