Pune Metro Helpline Number for ‘Ek Pune Card’ and Student Pass Updated

The Pune Metro has recently made an announcement regarding a change in the helpline number for the Pune Metro Card and Pune Metro Student Pass. According to information shared on the official Pune Metro Twitter handle, a notice has been issued for ‘Ek Pune Card’ and ‘Ek Pune Vidyarthi Pass’ holders.

As per the notification, the helpline number for One Pune Card and One Pune Vidyarthi Pass has been updated. Cardholders and students can now contact the new helpline number, 022 – 45000800, starting from February 23, 2024, for any assistance they may require.

In a related development, the Central Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) commissioner has conditionally approved the commencement of passenger services on the Ruby Hall to Ramwadi stretch of the Pune Metro. However, final approval from the state government is still pending. The completion of work on this stretch has led to growing anticipation among commuters for the initiation of passenger services.

Students, in particular, are eager for the metro service to begin, with a student from Cusrow Wadia College expressing excitement about the potential opening of the Ramwadi to Ruby Hall Clinic stretch. The ongoing traffic congestion, exacerbated by the diversion of traffic for the Sadhu Vaswani railway overbridge demolition, has further emphasized the immediate need for the metro service to alleviate transportation challenges in the area.

The Pune Metro continues to be a significant infrastructure development, and these updates aim to keep passengers informed about changes and progress in the metro services.
