Pune: Maximum temperature expected to rise in city next week

PUNE: After the monsoon has retreated, the maximum temperature has increased in the city. The Puneites’ discomfort has increased after the rise in the maximum and minimum temperatures. The IMD has forecast that the maximum temperature is going to increase next week.

At present, the monsoon has retreated from all parts of the country and has completely retreated from Maharashtra. After the departure of monsoon, the maximum temperature has started increasing in the city.

The city is enveloped by fog early in the morning. Citizens are enjoying their mornings but the afternoons are becoming unpleasant due to the rise in the temperature. Till the morning of October 7, in 24 hours, the maximum temperature had gone above 34 degrees centigrade. In Akola, Brahmapuri, Wardha, Amravati and Solapur, the maximum temperature has gone above 35 degrees centigrade. On Sunday (October 8), dry and hot weather has been forecast. The weather is expected to be dry on Sunday.

A low pressure area has formed from Manipur to Bihar. On the coastal area of northern Andhra Pradesh, circular winds have formed. Because of the clear sky, the rays of the sun are falling on the ground thus increasing the temperature.
