Pune: Material Worth Rs 31 Lakh Stolen From Warehouse Of Bosch Limited, Case Registered

Mahalunge, 12th July 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have registered a case against three individuals for allegedly stealing injectors worth Rs 31.7 lakh from the warehouse of Bosch Limited, a well-known company. The incident occurred between April and July 2023 at the company’s warehouse located in the Indo Space Industrial Park in Mahalunge.

The police have identified the three accused as Raju Suresh Baikar (35), Santosh Bhaguji Gargote (31), and Sandip Sopan Salve. Two of the accused have already been arrested, while the search for the third accused is currently underway, according to the police.

Upon learning that the company officials were planning to file a case, the accused returned some of the stolen material to the warehouse. However, a portion of the stolen items is still missing. The police have registered a case at the Mahalunge Police Station under sections 381 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.

The theft of valuable material worth Rs 31 lakh from the warehouse of Bosch Limited has raised concerns about the security and protection of industrial properties. The company is cooperating with the police in their investigation, providing any necessary assistance to ensure that the culprits are brought to justice.
