Pune, August 8th, 2023: In a significant breakthrough, the Crime Branch Unit of Pimpri Chinchwad Police apprehended a suspect for his alleged involvement in the theft of valuable mobile phone tower components. The accused, identified as Zameerullah Hakirulllah Saha (46), was apprehended from a rented residence in the Jadhavwadi area of the city.
The incident pertains to the theft of mobile tower parts worth a staggering Rs 10.62 lakh. The stolen components were reportedly taken from a godown situated in the Chikhali area of Jadhavwadi. Law enforcement promptly registered a case regarding this incident at the Chikhali Police Station under the appropriate sections of the law.
The Crime Branch Unit, cognizant of the gravity of the situation, initiated an independent investigation into the matter. As a result of their diligent efforts, the police received intelligence regarding the accused’s plans to transport the stolen goods. Acting swiftly, the police laid a strategic trap that led to the arrest of Zameerullah Hakirulllah Saha.
