Pune: Illegal Job Scandal Exposed! Two Face Charges For Deceptive Job Promises In Singapore

Pune: A complaint has been registered against two individuals for allegedly defrauding an individual over the false promise of a job in Singapore at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. In this case, police booked two individuals for running an illegal racket of defrauding people on the pretext of securing them a job in a foreign country.

Jayesh Navinchandra Mamtora, a resident of Wanwadi, filed a complaint in this case on Thursday. According to the police, the accused lured the complainant’s son, Jash Mamtora, to get a job in Singapore. After gaining his trust, accused demanded a staggering 10 lakh, 88 thousand, and 885 rupees from the plaintiff from time to time on the guarantee of giving him a job in Singapore.

As a part of their sinister action, the accused sent forged documents to the victim’s email ID and sent the victim to Singapore. However, after reaching Singapore, the victim realised that there were no such arrangements for his job there. Shockingly, the accused further netted 3 lakh, 24 thousand, and 323 rupees from the victim on his travel and accommodation arrangements in Singapore.

After realising their organised plan, the plaintiff lodged a formal complaint against two accused, Pradeep Dinkar Ilke (resident of Sukhsagar Nagar, Katraj) and Ravi Singh Tomar (resident of Meerut) at Bharti University Police Station. Acting swiftly, police booked them under IPC 420, 406, 465, 468, 469, 471, 427, and 34. Police Sub-Inspector Thorat is conducting further investigation into the case.
