PUNE: MNS leader from Pune Vasant More has recently been appointed as Chief Organiser of Baramati LS constituency. After his appointment, More has started visiting four talukas in Baramati constituency.
Meanwhile, he has made an important statement about his desire of becoming an MP from Pune. He expressed hope that if the party gave him an opportunity, he will become the first MP of MNS in Maharashtra.
When More was told that MNS activists wanted him to become an MLA, he said, “I want to become an MP this year. I want to become an MP from Pune. I feel that if the party gives me an opportunity, then the first MP of MNS in Maharashtra will be Vasant More.” More made this statement while speaking to journalists in Pune.
Speaking about strengthening MNS in Baramati constituency, he said, “After being elected as Chief Organiser of the Baramati constituency, I am visiting all talukas in the constituency today. I have visited Purandar and Baramati. Now, I will visit Indapur and Daund. We want to appoint office-bearers in four talukas and we are carrying out a check to assess their capacity. We want to strengthen the party’s organisation. Hence, work has been started in Baramati LS constituency.”
“Raj Thackeray will decide what steps should be taken regarding the election. We are going to bring Raj Thackeray to Baramati city soon. The first meeting of the Baramati LS constituency will be held in Baramati city,” More added.
