Pune: The disturbing incident of bludgeoning a waiter to death by striking continuously on his head with hard objects over trivial reasons has come to light. This incident took place at Vadgaon Plateau around 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19. In this regard, a case of murder has been registered against two unknown persons at Sinhagad Road Police Station.
The murdered 25-year-old individual has been identified as Sunilkumar Ram Asare. The deceased is originally a native of Uttar Pradesh and is currently residing in the Ambegaon Budruk area. In his murder case, his relative, Sushil Kumar (25), has filed a complaint at the Sinhagad Road Police Station. On this, the police have registered a case under IPC 302 and 34 against two unknown persons.
The deceased Asare was working as a waiter at the Maitri Hotel in the Ambegaon Budruk area. Asare was staying at the same hotel. As per the primary estimate, a small fight broke out between Asare and the two accused on Thursday. Following the altercation, two accused struck Asare with a hard object, causing his death.
The impact of the strike was so high that Asare lost his life on the spot. Following the incident, the accused skedaddled from the scene. Assistant Police Inspector Deepak Kadbane is conducting further investigation into the case.
