In a daring and shocking incident, a group of four individuals executed a targeted robbery at the HP petrol pump situated on the Lohgaon-Wagholi road in Pune.
The audacious heist unfolded on Saturday night around 9:30 pm when the assailants, masked and armed, entered the premises, threatening employees and escaping with a substantial sum of Rs 28,870. A formal case of robbery has been lodged at the airport (Vimantal) police station.
The complaint was filed by Rahul Bhimrao Pingle (24), an employee at the HP petrol pump, detailing the frightening experience. Pingle and his colleagues were on duty when the four robbers, their faces concealed with cloth, entered the office premises. Armed with an iron weapon, the assailants menacingly threatened Pingle and his colleagues, looting Rs 28,870 in cash. Additionally, they damaged the mobile phones of Pingle’s coworkers before swiftly making their escape.
The police have initiated an investigation into the case.
