Pune: Heavy vehicles banned in Yerawada, Mundhwa and Koregaon Park areas

PUNE: To prevent traffic jams in Yerawada, Mundhwa and Koregaon Park, the roads will be shut for heavy vehicles every day in the morning and evening. DCP (Traffic) Vijaykumar Magar has issued orders to this effect.

Heavy vehicles have been banned on roads in these areas from 8 am to 12 noon and 6 pm to 1 am. Heavy vehicles have been banned in the morning and evening on Nagar Road going towards Shastri Nagar Chowk and Ramwadi Chowk to Koregaon Park via Aga Khan Pul and the road going towards Mundhwa.

In Koregaon Park area, vehicles have been banned on the South Main Road, North Main Road and Burning Ghat Road going towards ABC farm House and to Kalyani Nagar and Mundhwa. Magar has informed that heavy vehicles have been banned on the road from Tadigutta Chowk in Mundhwa to Koregaon Park.
