Pune: Five workers booked for embezzlement of Rs 8,37,908 from the company in Chinchwad MIDC

Pune: In a shocking incident it has come to light that the workers working with the delivery services company have embezzled the company of Rs 8,37,908. In this regard, the Pimpri police station has registered a case against five people. The incident took place between September 4, 2023 and June 6, 2023 at Identify Delivery Services at Chinchwad in MIDC.

Surendra Jagdish Sharma, Zonal Manager of Main Branch in Gurgaon Delhi has filed a complaint regarding the matter at the Pimpri Police Station. Accordingly, a case has been registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 420, 406, 34 against manager Vinod Rakhe, cluster manager Nilesh Dange, Hub Incharge Samrat Thube, Delivery Boy Mayur Jilbeli, Onkar Shinde and other delivery boys.

According to the police, “Vinod Rakhe, Nilesh Dange and Samrat Thube worked at the senior level of Identify Delivery Services Pvt. Ltd. By using the power of their position, they took other delivery to work for them. By winning the trust the the accused tried to embezzle Rs 5,77,177 from the parcel and cash Rs 2,60,731 totaling to Rs 8,37,908 revealed the audit of the company.

The further investigation about the case is being carried out by police constable Dhaigude
