PUNE: The police have secured custody of drug smuggler Lalit Patil who had escaped from Sassoon Hospital. Congress MLA Ravindra Dhangekar has demanded that a narco test of Lalit Patil and Dean of Sassoon Hospital Dr Sanjeev Thakur to find out who helped Patil to escape from the hospital.
The main accused Lalit Patil, Rohit Choudhary and Shivaji Shinde were produced in the district sessions court and JMFC AC Birajdar remanded them in police custody till November 7.
