In a bid to resolve the ongoing road closure issue that has been causing distress among residents of the 7th Heaven Housing Society in Dhanori, a crucial meeting was held today at the Pune District Collector’s office. The meeting, chaired by District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, aimed to find an amicable solution to the contentious matter that has left the local population in a state of uncertainty and concern.

The 7th Heaven Housing Society, nestled in the heart of Dhanori S. No. 4, is home to 174 families. The road connecting this locality to Lohegaon has become the epicenter of a heated debate following the Defence Department’s announcement of its potential closure. This announcement sent shockwaves through the society’s residents and the broader community who rely on this route for their daily commute.

Speaking on the matter, MLA Sunil Tingre expressed his concerns, saying, “The sudden announcement of the potential closure of the road has left the residents of 7th Heaven Housing Society and the local population deeply unsettled. It’s imperative that we find a solution that respects the interests of all parties involved.”

Responding to the pleas and appeals from the housing association’s officials, District Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh took the initiative to convene the meeting. During the gathering, Dr. Deshmukh meticulously examined the documentation provided by both the Defence Department and the Revenue Department. Recognizing the need for a collaborative effort to resolve this issue, he directed officials from both departments to conduct a joint survey to determine the exact boundary in question.

Furthermore, Dr. Deshmukh instructed all relevant administrative officers to work diligently towards finding a swift resolution to the road problem. The meeting witnessed the participation of representatives from the Defence Department, officials from the Revenue Department and Land Records Department, as well as members of the 7th Heaven Housing Society.
