Pune-Daund rail journey will become faster; Trains will operate with a speed of 130 km per hour

PUNE: The train journey between Pune-Daund will be reduced by 10 minutes because the trains will operate at a speed of 130 km per hour, according to orders issued by Central Railway’s General Manager Naresh Lalwani to the Pune Division. The orders will be implemented from Monday and the Pune-Daund journey will be faster.

The capacity of the tracks on the Pune-Daund railway track has been increased. The Commissioner of Railway Safety of Central Railway, Manoj Arora, had inspected the route and issued some instructions. The Pune railway administration implemented these suggestions.

Later, the chief security officer gave a green signal. Later, Naresh Lalwani also inspected the route and gave permission for operation of trains at the speed of 130 km per hour. This will save the time of passengers.

Addl Divisional Railway Manager Brijesh Kumar Singh said, “Permission has been received to operate trains on the Pune-Daund route at 130 km per hour and some trains will operate at that speed. After some days, all trains will operate on the route with a speed of 130 km per hour.”
