Pune : A cooperative agent was defrauded in a financial scam involving the appropriation of the selling price of 305 acres of land without dividing the commission with him and his accomplices. All this incident took place between January 2011 and April 2024 at the Hotel Annapurna in Chinchwad.
In this regard, a police complaint was filed by the plaintiff against six individuals at Chinchwad police station. The plaintiff has been identified as Guruprasad Bilochanram Jaiswal (age 63), a resident of Titwala, Taluka Kalyan, District Thane. The plaintiff is an estate agent by profession.
According to the police, BPL Company owns 305 acres of land at Mauje Jambhul village in Maval taluka. In this land transaction, K. Vishwanath, the representative of the company, and Arvind Jain, who purchased the land, betrayed the plaintiff and his associates by not informing them of the transaction of the land. The plaintiff and four of his accomplices worked as estate agents.
The accused committed financial fraud for their own benefit without sharing the plaintiff’s rightful commission of Rs 18 crore and 25 lakh. The plaintiff and his associates demanded their rightful commission for the last ten years, but the accused had threatened to kill them.
In this regard, the plaintiff filed a complaint against Praveen Ramesh Salve, Ramesh Salve, Premchand Bafna, Sadiq Pasha, K Vishwanath, and Arvind Jain at Chinchwad police station. Accordingly, Chinchwad police booked all the accused under IPC 406, 409, 420, 120(b), and 506(2) and started an investigation into the case under police inspector Zinjurde.
