PUNE: Activists of ABVP and SFI clashed on the campus of SPPU on Wednesday. The clash highlighted the conflict between both organisations on the lines of JNU.
The incident took place in the cafeteria of the university. There was an argument between activists of ABVP and SFI over registration of members. The argument turned into a fight and a student was injured. The security department of SPPU informed the police about the incident. The security department informed that the police were giving a patient hearing to activists of both organisations. However, the fighting had created a tense atmosphere on the campus. There have been many incidents of clashes between activists of student organisations on JNU campus. A similar incident has happened on SPPU campus.
