PUNE: The state government had announced Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Yojana in April on the lines of Pantpradhan Kisan Sanman Yojana to give ₹6,000 per year to farmers. Accordingly, 85 lakh farmers who have received the 14th instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana, will get the first instalment of the Namo Kisan Yojana on Thursday from PM Narendra Modi at Shirdi. Sources in the agriculture department said that the district wise list of beneficiaries would be finalised on Sunday.

On Sunday, district wise lists of beneficiaries would be ready. The state government has allocated funds of ₹1,720 crore for the first instalment and it will be allocated to various banks on Monday. An instalment of ₹2,000 would be distributed to the beneficiaries in Shirdi on Thursday. Sources said that there would not be a significant difference in the number of beneficiaries of the Namo Kisan Yojana.
