Pune: 678 bottles of blood collected and donated in blood donation Camp organized at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering. Camp was organized to mark Birth Anniversary of Late Dr. Patangrao Kadam, Founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Mishra, Dr. Sachin Chavan, Dr.Sunita Jadhav, Dr. Amol Kadam, Priya Hirve, Prashant Yadav present with Principals and Directors of Bharati Vidyapeeth Institutes of Pune.
Ankit Goyal was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of Blood Donation Camp organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering (BV (DU)COE), Pune.He was sharing his experiences and views on how students thought process today needs to be. He said that when students run a rat race for professional competency and achievements,they tend to lose focus on their duties and responsibilities as a citizen and as a part of society. If this happens, then he said, although society undergoes economic development, societal development suffers. He appreciated and congratulated the efforts of Bharati Vidyapeeth institutes, that the management and students in spite of being in hectic schedules for the professional courses, imbibe social values on students through such activities of social cause. Also present for the inauguration were Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, addressed the audience sharing the journey and achievements of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) with the vision and struggle of founder Hon’ble Late Dr. Patangrao Kadam. He mentioned that it was the first university in Maharashtra to have received A grade accreditation from NAAC. He congratulated the faculty and students for the rankings and performance of institutes.
Dr. Vidula Sohoni, Principal BV (DU) COE, mentioned the struggle and vision of late Dr. Patangrao Kadam in establishing Bharati Vidyapeeth and raising it a nationally renowned University. She also mentioned that this blood donation camp is not a single day event but has been conducted every year since past 30 years on occasion of birth anniversary
of late Dr. Patangrao Kadam Founder, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Dr.Vishwajeet Kadam, Secretary and Pro Vice Chancellor, Bharati Vidyapeeth. She also mentioned the accolades and national recognitions of BV(DU)COE.
Dr. Amol Kadam, co-ordinator of the blood donation camp, presented the welcome address and introduced the guests. Mrs Priya Hirve, Professor, Civil Engineering, BV (DU)COE, hosted the inaugural function. Prashant Yadav, coordinator, NSS, BV (DU) COE,presented the vote of thanks.During the camp, 1205 volunteers had registered for donating the blood, and 678 bottles
of blood were donated.
