Pune: In a shocking incident a 42-year-old woman who went for a walk with a friend was molested and her friend was abused. Also, the accused beat those who came to rescue the woman. The incident took place at Kharadi near Shaan Hall at around 10:30pm. The Chandan Nagar police station has registered a case against three people.
In this matter, a woman has filed a complaint. Accordingly, police have registered a case against Mangilal Kanharam Chaudhary (41), Ramesh Chaudhary (39) and Ashok Chaudhary (23) under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 354, 509, 506, 323 and 34. The accused has been served notice under Cr PC 41 (1) Act.
According to the police, ” The complainant after dinner went for a walk near Shaan Hall along with her friend. The accused came on bike at full speed and cut his bike near the complainant. When the complainant asked whether they didn’t know how to ride a bike. At that time, the accused caught the hand of the complainant and when her friend came for the rescue he caught her and abused her. Also, when one man came to rescue the woman he was beaten and was also threatened as per the complaint.”
The further investigation in the case is being done by woman Assistant Police Inspector Muluk.
