Pune gears up for a significant political event as Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress, is scheduled to hold a rally in the city. The rally, organized in support of the Pune Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar, is slated for today, Friday, May 3.

Key Attendees: Arvind Shinde, the Pune Congress Chief, and Mohan Joshi, the party’s campaign chief for Pune city, have confirmed the participation of top state leaders, including Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat, Prithviraj Chavan, Ravi Chenni, along with leaders from allied parties in the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition.

Venue and Timing: The rally is set to commence at 4 pm at the grounds of Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School (SSPMS), situated near the Regional Transport Office in Pune.

Logistics Arrangements: Arvind Shinde revealed that the venue will feature four entrance gates to facilitate smooth entry for attendees. A dedicated entrance near the Shahu Maharaj Statue will be reserved exclusively for VVIPs attending the event. Additionally, to accommodate the overflow of attendees, four LED displays will be strategically set up to relay speeches and proceedings for those unable to secure seats within the venue.
