Police Constable Found Dead in Pune’s Lohegaon Area, Suicide Note Recovered

In a tragic incident, a police constable employed in the Motor Transport Section of Pune Police was discovered dead at his residence in the Gurudwara Colony, Lohegaon area. The deceased, identified as Vaibhav Dilip Shinde, was found hanging from a tree branch on the terrace.

According to reports, Shinde’s wife made the heartbreaking discovery around 4 am on Friday and immediately informed other family members. Local police swiftly responded to the scene, but unfortunately, Shinde was pronounced dead by doctors.

During the investigation, a suicide note was found, in which Shinde apologized to his family members. It has been revealed that he had been preparing for the Police Sub Inspector exam for the past few months. He leaves behind his wife and a four-year-old son.

Some of Shinde’s family members have alleged that he took this extreme step due to harassment by his superior officers within the department. The specific details of the alleged harassment are yet to be disclosed.

The incident is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to gather more information and ascertain the circumstances surrounding Shinde’s death. The police will carefully examine the suicide note and conduct interviews to determine the factors that may have contributed to this tragic event.
