PMPML Introduces ‘Pravasi Din’ to Foster Passenger Feedback and Enhance Bus Services

In a bid to prioritize passenger satisfaction and address issues faced by commuters, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) is set to celebrate ‘Pravasi Din’ (Passenger Day) on every second and fourth Friday of the month. The inaugural event is scheduled for January 12th, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at all PMPML depots.

According to PMPML officials, the initiative aims to receive direct feedback from passengers, enabling the organization to promptly address concerns and improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of bus services across various routes and stands within the PMPML operating area.

During ‘Pravasi Din,’ officers will be stationed at each PMPML depot to engage with passengers and gather valuable suggestions for a more passenger-oriented bus service. Additionally, to accommodate those who may find it challenging to visit depots during their daily routines, passengers can submit their objections, suggestions, and complaints at PMPML bus stands and pass centers.

The PMPML encourages citizens to actively participate in the ‘Pravasi Din’ activity, emphasizing the collaborative effort required to enhance the overall public transportation experience in Pune.
