Pune, August 20, 2023 – Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has taken a distinctive step by inaugurating a non-stop bus service connecting Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) with Bhosari. This innovative service is designed to expedite commuting for long-distance routes within the metropolitan vicinity. Moreover, the bus service operates as an Air Conditioned (AC) facility and is distinctive for its conductor-free operation.
Sachchindra Pratap Singh, the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of PMPML, inaugurated the service at the Pune Municipal Corporation Bus Stop. With the primary goal of enhancing connectivity for commuters, this service will initially deploy two buses along this route. The response to the service will determine the potential expansion of the fleet to meet demand.
The establishment of a direct bus link between these two pivotal bus stops promises swifter connectivity for passengers journeying between Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad on a daily basis. This new initiative is set to particularly benefit office-goers and students, streamlining their travel experience. Notably, passengers can conveniently procure tickets from either the PMC or Bhosari Bus Stop, as these buses will be operated without conductors.
